Our “Dine-In Daylight Group” is for those who would like to go out, as part of a group, to enjoy a meal, but for various reasons would prefer daytime rather than nighttime.
The outings are normally on the second Saturday of the month, the exception being November, when it is the second Tuesday. Note: There is no “Dine in Daylight’ in January or December.
We use the train to travel to the venue, to allow members to socialise and enjoy the journey, as well as the destination. The venues are located within a few minutes walk of the station and normally offers a “Seniors Menu” or a percentage discount off the main menu.
This keeps costs low while allowing the group to visit a variety of venues across Greater Melbourne. At least one outing is planned to allow the use of the free “Seniors Rail Passes”, normally Warragul, Traralgon or Drouin.
