Changes
The start of 2025 will see Berwick National Seniors start on the migration path to become Berwick E.A.T.S. (Eating Activities To be Shared). The same friendly people, just a new name.
While will continue to have our two “Dine Out” activities each month we no longer having monthly meetings.
The planned activities for the year are listed below, if they interest you why not join us.

Who are We
We are a group of older people who meet a couple of times a month to share a meal while enjoying the company of like-minded people. While most are retired, some are still working, our activities are therefore planned to allow as many as possible to take part.
In this post-COVID world, it is important to reestablish social contact with other people, put the lock-down era behind us and come and join us.
Our Activities Program
Our ‘Dine in Daylight’ activity is subject to ‘Level Crossing Removal’ disruptions and is therefore subject to change, this website will be updated if things change
We have two dine-out activities each month:
- Dine in Daylight – On the second Saturday, most months, we travel by train for lunch, somewhere in Greater Melbourne.
- Dine out Group – Alternating between Wednesday dinners and Sunday lunches, we travel by car, to venues with in 40 minutes of Berwick.

- Saturday 8th – Dine in Daylight – Venue – Seaford RSL, 17 Station Street, Seaford.
- Sunday 23rd – Sunday Lunch at noon – Tooradin Sports Club at the Recreation Reserve, South Gippsland Hwy, Tooradin.

- Saturday 8th – Dine in Daylight – Venue – Drouin Family Bistro, 65 Princes Way, Drouin.
- Wednesday 26th @ 6.30 pm – Dine Out Group – We will visit Trios Sports Club, 30 Grant Street Cranbourne, for dinner and good company.
April 2025
- Saturday 12th – Dine in Daylight – Venue – The Palace Hotel, 893 Burke Rd, Camberwell.
- Sunday 27th @ Noon – Sunday Lunch – Venue – The Baxter Tavern, 117 Baxter- Tooradin Road, Baxter.
May 2025
- Saturday 10th – Dine in Daylight – Pascoe Vale Hotel, 12 Railway Parade, Pascoe Vale, 3044 Vale Hotel
- Wednesday 28th @ 6.30 pm – Dine Out Group – Starting at 6.30 pm, we will visit The Dandenong Club, 1579 Heatherton Road, Dandenong.
June 2025
- Saturday 8th – Dine in Daylight – La Passion Cafe, 71 Queen St, Warragul.
- Sunday 22nd @ Noon – Sunday Lunch – Ferntree Gully Hotel – Feast/Buffet – 1130 Burwood Highway, Ferntree Gully.
July 2025
- Saturday 12th – Dine in Daylight – Venue – Ringwood RSL, 16 Station St, Ringwood.
- Sunday 27th @ 12 noon – Sunday Lunch – We will visit The Royal Hotel, at 1208 Burwood Hwy
Ferntree Gully, for lunch and good company.

- Sunday 24th @ Noon – Sunday Lunch – Venue – The Wantirna Hill Club,715 Boronia Rd, Wantirna.

- Saturday 13th – Dine in Daylight – Venue – The Mitcham Hotel, 556 Maroondah Hwy, Mitcham
- Wednesday 24th at 6.30 pm – Dine Out Group – We will be visiting the Berwick Inn, 1 High St Berwick, for dinner and good company.
October 2025
- Saturday 11th – Dine in Daylight – Traralgon – We will start the day with a visit to the “Kay Street Market at Traralgon” and for lunch visit the Grand Junction Hotel, 8-22 Franklin Street, Traralgon. You may like to use your “Seniors Free Travel” voucher, if you have one, before it expires or if you prefer there is the Senior – Weekend cap at $3.60.
- Sunday 26th @ Noon – Sunday Lunch – Venue – The Westernport Hotel at Hastings, 16 High St, Hastings.
November 2025
- Tuesday 11th – Dine in Daylight – Venue – The Watergardens Hotel, 431 Kings Road, Taylors Lakes.
- Wednesday 26th @ 6.30 pm – Dine Out Group – We will be visiting the Frankston RSL, 183 Cranbourne Rd, Frankston, for dinner and good company.
December 2025
- Christmas Breakup – Sunday 7th – Sunday Lunch – Noon – Venue – An International Buffet at Castello’s Pakenham Hotel, 226-230 Princes Highway, Pakenham.
